Art of Marbling - Umbrella

November 7, 2019

2019 has proven to be a fantastic year for the art of marbling. Here in Minnesota (in the USA for all my international followers), there is a second renaissance of marbling. Minnesota is home to over 100 active practitioners of marbling within a 50-mile radius. Also, other marbling communities are popping up in other states, countries, and online. Remember, it takes a village to save a craft.

The other exciting thing happening in the art of marbling is product licensing. Or the ability to take marbled patterns and place them on products. The photos above are products created from my original marbled papers. I've included links on the images of where to purchase the products. My goal for the licensed product is awareness is raised for the craft of marbling - may it inspired people to learn it or grow a greater appreciation for this centuries-old art form.

Oh, if you are interested in taking classes on marbling, click - here.
